Production

The movie, directed by Shane Taylor and produced by Jay McPhaul, is based on a book of the same title by William Gay. Filming took place in Wilmington, North Carolina. Toby Keith and Faye Dunaway were originaly set to appear, featured in early press releases about the movie, though they did not appear in the film Filmimg wrapped on May 19th. 2009
