Everything in the article Information overload is relevant to the title. In this article, there is a negative claim about the topic from Clay Shirky saying that information overload is "filter failure." [1] However, besides that argument, the rest of the article is neutral. The viewpoints are very well represented and contributed to the title, describing the different things that led to information overload: books, emails, the Internet, and much more. The links contribute to the article in a very intelligent way. The source supports the claim by showing background information about Clay Shirky's disagreement with the idea of information overload. Each fact is referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference. The information comes from journal articles, newspaper articles, and books. Most of the sources are neutral; however, one source states that information overload is very risky. The information is up to date. The author of this article uses a great amount of sources and information, which interconnects to Information overload in a very concise and clear way. On the Talk page of the article, there is a proposal of the article merging with Data_Smog . The author disagreed with the unnamed user because Data_Smog is an article about a book 2. Information overload is a part of 6 WikiProjects; the article is rated C-class, low and mid importance. The way Wikipedia discusses the top differs from the way we've talked about it in class by showing that it can be risky and goes deep into the history of information.

I would like to contribute more history information for the article because I found a website that has more about the history of the restaurant. I also would want to find ratings or critiques about the restaurant.

The Hat is a fast food restaurant in Southern California that has a specialty in pastrami sandwiches. Since 1951, this restaurant chain has been satisfying Southern California residents with their delicious food, including their pastrami dip sandwiches. It is owned by the C & J Food Company, which is a family of men. -This article needs more information about the history and the atmosphere it creates for their customers. There also needs to be more sections contributing to the description of the restaurant.

History

  • The name comes from the restaurant's logo, which is a chef's hat. (Daily Bulletin).
  • There are 11 restaurants in 11 different cities in Southern California.
  • It has been family owned since 1951 and families from different generations have enjoyed/experienced the great food (Campus Circle).
  • In 1981, it was passed on to the Conzonire family and they are the owners up to this day (Campus Circle).
  • After the restaurant was passed on, the Conzonire family took the initiative to expand the business by building new restaurants. They also updated the ambiance. (Campus Circle).
  • The original restaurant was decorated in a very 50s fashion. (Valley News)
  • Other chains such as Carl's Jr. have tried to introduce the pastrami burger; however, they do it for a limited time and The Hat does it full time (The New York Times).
