Allen F.(Faguy) Mackenzie was born and raised in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. He has a Bachelors degree in Philosophy from Maharishi University of Management (Iowa,1981) and a DEC (college) degree in Business Administration from Champlain Regional College (1976 Quebec city). He is a founder, organizer and spokesperson for various social, political and humanitarian organizations such as: Candidate of the Conservative Party of Canada in the 2004 and 2006 campaigns, the Campaigns to Ban Genetically Engineered Foods, the Natural Law Parties of Canada and Quebec(1991-2001) and the Société de dévelopement Lac a la loutre,2006). He is a speaker of the Transcendental Meditation Program and Maharishi Vedic Science programs. For the past 20 years he has worked as an Executive Agency Director and consultant for Knowledge First Financial and is a member of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers and its Comité de discipline. As an entrepreneur he has founded a number of small businesses including a chain of home furnishing stores (Nu-Age Inc.), an import and wall fabrics company(Lin-fini) and has established Mackenzie & Assoc., a consulting and communications firm for municipal and federal government relations. Additionally, he has developed ventures with retirement homes, daycare facilities and most recently a tennis board game (World Tennis Championships, WTC).

Currently, Mr. Mackenzie is structuring a major development project for the benefit all Montrealers as Director of the Société de dévelopement Lac a la Loutre (www.lacalaloutre.org) which proposes the creation of a 5 km square parkway in downtown Montreal in the former area known as the Turcot lands. The park will restore a natural lake formation that existed 200 years ago with its connection to the Lachine Canal and will be surrounded by recreational facilities such as an amphitheatre, museums, marina, bicycle, tramway and pedestrian paths as well as bio-tech and university residence center.
