Aliyu Tijani Aliyu: Biography

Aliyu Tijani Aliyu (formerly known as Aliyu Tijani) was born on March 3, 2000, in Song Local Government, Adamawa State, to Tijani Aliyu and Kulchumi Bobbo. His parents are both natives of Adamawa State, however due to his father's job, they spent roughly 11 years living in Maiduguri, Borno State, before being compelled to return to Adamawa State due to the Boko Haram crisis.

His parents brought him to Maiduguri after his birth so he could grow up there. When he was three years old, he began attending primary one at Maiduguri's Amina Memorial Islamic Primary School. He began attending secondary school at the same Amina Memorial in 2009, but the Boko Haram crisis forced him and his family to return to Adamawa State after just two years (at JSS2). He later enrolled at Professor Jibril Aminu Secondary School in Adamawa State, from JSS3 to SS3 (2011 to 2015).

He wrote JAMB in 2015, scored 191 and applied for Microbiology at Unimaid but could not get Admission so he decided to start a Diploma in Computer Science at Modibbo Adama University, Yola (Formerly known as Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola) in that 2015. He then retake for JAMB in 2016 and scored 220 where he secured an Admission at Modibbo Adama University, Yola (Formerly known as Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola) to study B.Tech Physics.

While simultaneously running both diploma and degree program, he managed to finish his diploma in September 2017 with a Second Class Upper Division. After his diploma graduation, he focused fully on his undergraduate degree program where he later on graduated with a first class honours in Physics (B.Tech) with a CGPA of 4.78 on a 5 point scale becoming the best graduating student of physics department from its inception at Modibbo Adama University, Yola formerly known as Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola. He graduated on the 13th of January 2023 (Class of 2021).

Immediately following graduation, on January 25, 2023, he was able to begin the NYSC where he was deployed to Katsina State (Mani Camp) and posted to Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic, Katsina to serve as an assistant lecturer.
