[edit]

Is a built environment professional particular interests in urban planning and sustainability. A lot of my work is about post-war new towns in the UK and Ireland. This is funded by the Wellcome Trust and supported by the National Archives (Kew). In 2022 I have worked with colleagues at the TPCA to host two Wikipedia edit-a-thons. Together we edited and expanded the profiles of women involved with the garden city and new town movement[1]. I also write policy briefings for the Local Government Information Unit about planning, regeneration and climate change topics. I deliver professional training for CIEEM on planning law and policy

I contributed to the recent book about English and French New Towns. Lessons from British and French New Towns: Paradise Lost?[2]
