Just wish to let you know that you are rude! This is a place where people are supposed to respect one another's opinions. As I said in my short comment, the main page belongs to the public, and if there are matters to be settled, that should be done in the talk page, not in the main page. You behave as though you are the only person with an opinion on this planet. Just follow the rules and stop being rude by calling people with whom you disagree "panfarsists" or whatever you may happen to get into your head. As for "Azeri", I am well aware of what some think about it (insofar as they think or are capable of thinking), but that shows their shallow knowledge, if not utter ignorance, of the Persian Language and Persian Folklore. As for "Azar", the word is more than three thousand years old; if you can read Old Persian (which I doubt, given your callous pronouncements), then you will find it in various ancient inscriptions and texts. What is the origin of "Azer" and where in the Persian Folklore can one find a trace of the word "Azer"? United Nations may say what they want to say, I am not on their payrol to follow their orders; I have my independent views on the subject matter which are rooted not in a slavish aping of what others (the overwhelming majority being ignorants on the subject matter at issue) may or may not deign to say, but in my knowledge of the Persian Literature, Folklore and Culture. Your statement is as risible as one of saying that Einstein's theory of General Relativity was accepted/rejected by the vote of the UN. The fact is, that no one who is in the business of physics cares to know what the UN may or may not say about any scientific theory in general, and about Einstein's theories in particular --- as far as sciences (and literature is a branch of human knowledge) are concerned, UN is a non-entity; they are in the business of safeguarding the peace in the world, not in the business of defining new and meaningless words (if they were able to maintain the peace, one might have some sympathy with them, but even in that single task they fail miserably, time and time again). As for Kasravi, have you read any of his works, or do you just happen to dislike him because his views do not coincide with your views, insofar as you have any? Given your behaviour (even your username betrays you as someone who exists by virtue of being Enemy (Doshman) of others --- you call yourself Enemy of Doostzadeh; what an irony!), I strongly doubt it. But that is your business. As you may be aware, there are people around us who believe that the entire universe came into being, in its present form, just some five thousand years ago, and I have no problem with them so long as they do not dictate what my children should be taught at school. Likewise, you may entertain your specific views on "Azeri" (which seem to be solely based on an alleged pronouncement by a political body, not known for any intellectual or literary accomplishments), which is a non-word by all accounts. To close, please follow the rules of conduct on Wikipedia pages, and we shall not collide. I just checked, and it seems that you have been only twice on Wikipedia, so your ignorance of the rules of conduct may be forgiven for now. If you wish to make a point, come along with historical and literary documents and avoid abusing scholars, such as Kasravi.
