I am an authority on the structure of glasses and other disordered materials, and an expert in the study of atomic structure by neutron diffraction. I am employed at the ISIS neutron source, which is a pulsed source of neutrons used for the study of materials, and is located in Oxfordshire in the UK. I work as an instrument scientist on the GEM (GEneral Materials) diffractometer, and I am responsible for its scientific programme in disordered materials.
