Elvis Kotorri (born 30 April 1979 in Elbasan) is an Albanian football player. He is currently the first choice goalkeeper at Albanian club KS Shkumbini Peqin in the Albanian Superliga.

Career

[edit]

Kotorri has spent most of his playing career with his hometown club KF Elbasani where he began playing professional football in 1996. He was with Elbasani until 2007 but also played for KS Shkumbini Peqin for six months in 2004 in a loan deal that meant that he returned to Elbasani once again. The goalkeeper moved to his current club Dinamo Tirana in the summer of 2007 and has since been able to become the club's first choice keeper and one of the best keepers in the league. He made his debut in a European tournament in 2006 with Elbasani, he played both matches against Lithuanian side Ekranas, he conceded 4 goals in two games which sent Elbasani crashing out of the competition in just the first qualifying stage on a 4-0 aggregate loss.[1] He was also part of the Dinamo side that won the 2007-2008 Albanian Superliga which put them into the Champions League first qualifying round. Kotorri played just one of the two legs which ended 2-1 to Modriča.[2]
