Hi, I'm Alain Mathuren. I'm interested in the fields of energy and transport, especially in how we can make our daily lives more sustainable. In particular, I've been following European Union policy for decades, and am fascinated by the increasingly rapid energy transition.

I currently work as the communications manager for FuelsEurope, the association of European refiners. This means I may propose some edits to pages relevant to our work, where I have a conflict of interest. Where this is the case I welcome your feedback and will do my best to work with the community to make lasting edits which improve the quality of content on this site.
