Ahmed Hamad is a Sudanese songwriter and musician, born and raised in Suban Kosti City. He is the son of Mohammed Hamad, a renowned musician. After spending part of his childhood in Kosti, Ahmed returned to Khartoum to complete his university education. He studied Telecommunication Engineering and graduated from Gazira College of Technology.

Ahmed's passion for music began at a young age when he started writing songs while in basic school. His talent was recognized by one of his music teachers who helped him join a small band in school. This experience allowed him to develop his skills and gain knowledge and inspiration, qualifying him to do great things. Today, Ahmed Kosti is considered an ambassador for Sudanese music. He works tirelessly to reflect the beauty of Sudanese words and musical melodies, conveying these results to the Arab and Western world.
