Abdulrahman Abed ( Arabic عبدالرحمن عابد born in 1992 in Saudi Arabia ) is a Saudi writer, public relations (PR), and communications projects manager. [1]

In 2023 Abed managed projects, in the Kingdom such as overseeing PR activities for Formula E organizing the Core Diriyah E Prix and handling media coverage of individuals attending the Final Symposium in Paris before hosting Riyadh Expo 2030. That year he spearheaded the campaign for FM TECH Company, a venture of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) led an international campaign for Hajj season 1444H and provided guidance for the IWF World Weightlifting Championship 2023 a qualifying event for the Paris Olympics 2024.[2]

During 2021 Abed produced documentaries for Asharq Bloomberg featuring interviews with figures working in AlUla, Neom and Red Sea. He also offered PR support to Tahakom Company at GITEX 2021 in Dubai. Additionally Abed was involved in creating content for a campaign highlighting reforms in human rights and developing creative materials for the "Sakani" campaign initiated by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.[3]

Furthermore Abed authored reports on efforts by the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) to combat websites. He managed campaigns, for the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia (JCSA). Crafted narratives around arts and music events organized by the Saudi Ministry of Culture.[4]

He also holds certificates in digital journalism, digital marketing, governance, and project management from the most important international companies such as Google, Reuters, and other institutions in the Kingdom and abroad.[5]

Abed began his media career in 2009, by working in Saudi television, Al-Sharq, Al-Riyadh, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, Al-Arabiya newspapers, and Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper, from which he began his career advancement journey in the most important media outlets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.[6][7]
