Articles to Tackle

[edit]

The information in this article is presented neutrally in an unbiased manner. All facts are referenced with reliable resources. Everything in the article appears relevant to the topic and the information is up-to-date. The article does a great job at explaining convergent evolution and providing examples. It addresses some problems with distinguishing convergent evolution from ativism and parallel evolution. However, it does not provide methodology. I would like to address this gap and add methods used to detect convergent evolution.

This article provided a comprehensive list of convergent evolution examples. It is presented in an unbiased manner and has examples for most animal groups, plants, and fungi. Not all of the sources appear to be reliable and some of the links to the sources no longer work. This article has not been updated since 2015. It would be useful to update this article with reliable sources and remove links that are no longer working.
