Joan Soutar Robertson (20 September 1903 - 22 December 1994) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]Her father was David Soutar Robertson (24 March 1863 - 20 March 1912), a Justice of the Peace from Edinburgh.[3]
Her mother was Matilda Charlotte Fetch (14 January 1864 - 22 August 1959) from Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, England. David and Matilda married in Mumbai, India on 25 February 1889.[4]
Joan Mearnie Soutar Robertson was born in Nainital, India on 20 September 1903.[5]
