Garden Grant Smith (16 December 1860 - 24 August 1913) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was William Smith (born c. 1818), an architect from Aberdeen.
His mother was Mary Blaikie (25 September 1826 -) from Aberdeen. William and Mary married on 2 July 1846 in Old Machar, Aberdeen.
Garden Grant Smith was born on 16 December 1860 in Aberdeen.
He married Charlotte Irene Hayes on 6 April 1898 in Chelsea, London.[3]
He became an editor of Golf Illustrated.[4]

[edit]He died on 24 August 1913 at 82 Brook Green, Hammersmith, London. His estate was valued at £269, 14 shillings and 1 penny.[5]
