David Simson (c. 1803 - 29 March 1874) was a Scottish painter and sculptor.[1][2][3]

David Simson was born in Broughty Ferry, Dundee.
His brothers were the artists George Simson (28 July 1791 - 11 March 1862) and William Simson (17 October 1799 - 29 August 1847).
