Dr. Adil Nazir
[edit]a.k.a Dr. A.N.Khokhar, Khokhar, Adil (ڈاکٹر عادل نذیر کھوکھر), is the doctor of medicine specializing in field of cancer (Medical oncology) focusing on chemotherapy and targeted therapies of cancer. He was born (on 07-09-1984) in Kamoke, a small city of district Gujranwala in the province of Punjab, Pakistan. He received primary and secondary education from the hometown. He got higher secondary education from Government Islamia college, Gujranwala. He studied MBBS (2003 -2008) from Rawalpindi Medical college[1], Rawalpindi, a renowned and leading medical institution in medical education and providing doctors internationally, affliated with University of health and sicences[2]
After completing tertiary education, He moved to Lahore where he undergone through post graduation training (in July 2009) of Internal Medicine in Lahore General Hospital, Lahore (a renowned hospital for services in neurosciences all over the country). The Four years post graduation training was governed and examined by College of physicians and surgeons Pakistan[3]. He received Fellowship (FCPS-II) diploma in internal medicine in October 2014.
He has joined Shaukat Khanam Memorial Cancer Hospital and research Center[4], Lahore for 2nd Fellowship (2nd FCPS) in January 2015 as fellow in Medical oncology. Currently his main interest is in research and focusing on publications of research articles.
