Mansi Bhardwaj (born 25 January 1997) is an Indian playback singer, known for her songs in Maruti Mera Dost with Armaan Malik and I Am Kalam. In 2016-17, she participated in Indian Idol Season 9. She also participated in Star Voice of India, Chak De Bachche, Ustaadon Ka Ustaad.
Early life
[edit]Mansi was born in New Delhi to Indu Bala and Hari Om Bhardwaj. She did her schooling at Government Girls Sr. Secondary School in New Delhi and bachelor's degree at Miranda House in New Delhi. At the age of 6,she started learning Hindustani classical music.She has an 2 younger siblings, Manvi Bhardwaj and Hitansh Bhardwaj.
Career
[edit]Mansi participated in several reality shows since childhood. She started her career with music talent shows. Mansi moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in playback singing.
One of her first show was Colgate Max Fresh Antakshari, which aired on Star Plus. After being semi finalists in Star Voice of India, Chak De Bachche and Ustaadon Ka Ustaad she got her first Bollywood song Maafi Kyu Mangu in Maruti Mera Dost with Armaan Malik.[1] Mansi was among the top 9 contestant of Indian Idol 9 aired on Sony Entertainment Television.[2] In 2019, Mansi moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in playback singing.
