Faruk Lawal Jobe (born June 3, 1965) is a Nigerian politician who served as the Deputy Governor of Katsina State from 2023 to date. He also serves as Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning.

Faruk Lawal was born in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.
He attended Kankara Primary School where he obtained a Primary Leaving Certificate in 1978, and proceeded to Teachers College Dutsin-Ma, where he obtained a Teachers Grade II Certificate in the year 1983.
Then attended the College of Education, Kafanchan, and obtained a Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) in the year 1986, also proceeded to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where he obtained a Bachelor of Education Degree (B.Ed Social Studies) in the year 1990.
He proceeded to the University of Maiduguri where he obtained a master's Degree in Public Administration (MPA) in 1996 and also went to Usman Danfodio University Sokoto, where he obtained a master's in Business Administration (MBA), in the year 2000.
