Murray, Stephen, and Andrew Tallon. “Évreux, Cathédrale Notre-Dame.” Évreux, Cathédrale Notre-Dame | Mapping Gothic, https://mcid.mcah.columbia.edu/art-atlas/mapping-gothic/%C3%A9vreux-cath%C3%A9drale-notre-dame.

- this site is a background to the cathedral that includes the plans, history, significance, etc. It is written by two professors from the University of Columbia.

Michael Watt Cothren. (1996). "Evreux Cathedral". The Dictionary Of Art. Volume 10, 665-666. https://works.swarthmore.edu/fac-art/104

- overall detail about the cathedral. Gives info. about the artists and materials. Found the book from a professor at Swarthmore college.

"THE CATHEDRAL OF EVREUX, IN FRANCE." The Saturday Magazine, vol. 21, no. 671, 1842, pp. 233-235. ProQuest, https://www.libproxy.uwyo.edu/login?url=https://www.proquest.com/historical-periodicals/cathedral-evreux-france/docview/2898504/se-2.

- This magazine article goes into more detail about changes that have been made to the interior and exterior of the cathedral. It goes in-depth with the windows, layout, walls, the architect, etc. The article also gives a brief history of the building and its area. This is an old magazine article from 1842 in the Saturday Magazine that I found in the UW library.

Bibliography

[edit]

This is where you will compile the bibliography for your Wikipedia assignment. Add the name and/or notes about what each source covers, then use the "Cite" button to generate the citation for that source.

  • Example: Luke, Learie. 2007. Identity and secession in the Caribbean: Tobago versus Trinidad, 1889–1980.[1]
    • This is a book published by a university press, so it should be a reliable source. It also covers the topic in some depth, so it's helpful in establishing notability.
  • Example: Galeano, Gloria; Bernal, Rodrigo (2013-11-08). "Sabinaria , a new genus of palms (Cryosophileae, Coryphoideae, Arecaceae) from the Colombia-Panama border". Phytotaxa.[2]
    • This is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, so it should be a reliable source. It covers the topic in some depth, so it's helpful in establishing notability.
  • Example: Baker, William J.; Dransfield, John (2016). "Beyond Genera Palmarum: progress and prospects in palm systematics". Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society.[3]
    • This is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, so it should be a reliable source for a specific fact. Since it only dedicates a few sentences to the topic, it can't be used to establish notability.
