Alexia Lachlan is a digital maker and animator from Portland, Oregon. Alexia graduated in 2022 from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Digital Art with a concentration in animation and digital design. They currently work as a freelance designer and animator.

They first gained notoreity in 2019 after animating a short visualizer for the band Weyes Blood's song, Movies. After gaining traction on Youtube, Lachlan began an animated web series on the same platform, animating small shorts often less than 30 seconds long and often with an allegory or pun at the core of the story.

Lachlan was born in 1999 in Portland, where they lived until leaving for college. Their mother was a social worker, and father, Paul Lachlan, is an architect, widely known for designing multiple buildings on the University of Oregon campus. Lachlan grew up as the second of four children, and often cites the work of Roald Dahl as central inspiration.

Their animation style can be described as a mix of realism and traditional animation techiniques. They often incorporate drawn elements onto manipulated photographs. Their 2020 video "Clay Day," is done in claymation.
