Introduction

Matthew Najar is a singer, producer and dancer from Adelaide, Australia. He began performing at a early age before becoming signed to Universal AU Recording Alliance in late 2009 ^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4].

Background

Matthew Najar was born in the town of Adelaide in South Australia, Australia on August 2 1990. He was brought up with a younger brother and sister by his parents, attending school in Adelaide as well as University where is studied commerce accounting. Matthew grew up listening to rock music of the likes of ACDC as well as pop music such as Michael Jackson ^[5]^[6]^[7]^[8].

Influences

Matthew Najar's biggest influences are Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, ACDC, Korn, Slipknot and Usher. Matthew's music shows these influences as his style moves from pop to r&b to rock ^[9]^[10]^[11]^[12].

Career

As of 2009 Matthew has been working on his first studio release album titled 'Crisis'. Currently the album is expected to be released in late 2010 or early 2011^[13]^[14]^[15]^[16]. It is speculated that Matthew will be collaborating with such producers and artists as Jessica Mauboy, Alicia Keys and Akon ^[17]^[18]^[19]^[20]. The album will be released under the Universal AU Recording Alliance namesake. As of 2010 Matthew has a new manager Philip Brown of Adelaide Australia which will strengthen Matthew's bond with local music.
