Tine Zakotnik

Tine Zakotnik is a 195 cm old basketball player from Škofja Loka, Slovenia. He is born on 3.6. 2007 and plays for his hometown team LTH Castings.

He plays mostly as a forward, but he can play mulitple positions due to his versatility. Because of his height, footwork and touch around the rim he can play in the post. His passing and perimeter scoring allow him to play as a guard. His to greatest strenghts are transition game, 3 point shooting and great vision. Even though he is a bit turnover prone, he always seems to make the right decisions. Unfortunatley due to his terrible stamina and lack of strenght and footspeed he isn't as potent and versatile on defense as on offense. He is a solid team defender with high defensive iq he is a horrible on-ball defender.

On offense he shines the most in role of creator for others, but he can also transform into an excellent off-ball player or a pure scorer because he has great coordination, footwork and a reliable jumpshot. On defense he can be only used as rim protector because of his enormous wingspan, height and solid vertical jump.

He was averiging 21.4 points before a game in which he broke his ankle, now after 3 games since the injury he is averiging 17.1 points and 1.5 3PM per game. He leads his team in scoring and made 3 pointers. His career high came on a game against a tough team of Jesenice in which he dropped 32 points with 100% 3pt accuracy.
