The article that I have chosen to review is Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy. The article can be found at https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Arkansas_Law_Enforcement_Training_Academy.

As the spouse of a law enforcement officer, I know now important their training is. I found the article to not only be short in length, but very vague and lacked a lot of valuable information. The first error I noticed was in the introduction and where ALETA is located. There was basic information about the history of ALETA and how it came to be, however nothing was elaborated on. I would have liked to have read more information on the creation of the Shumaker Naval Ammunition Depot and the reasons behind why President Johnson turned the Shumaker Naval Ammunition Depot over to the State of Arkansas.

I would have also like to have read more information about the actual training they received at ALETA. As I mentioned before, I am married to a police officer and am aware of the training he received, but he is on the local level, and I would like to see how the training differs on the state level. I also would have liked to have read about the training the officers receive in Arkansas compared to that of officers in other states.

The article mentioned Camp Robinson, however the link that was provided does not take you to a page for Camp Robinson - it states that there is not a page.
