"To the American India" written by Lucy Thopmson born in 1853 and die in 1932 , has a total 32 chapters and each chapter are stories about the Yurok people and their culture, Mrs Lucy Thompson combine the native language with her book, and even with only few words in native language, Ms Lucy and her book were able to call the viewers attention, and the reason of that is because they were not socialized with the language that she used.

"The Slaves" (Chapter 28)

The word "SLAVE" pops out in chapter 28 as the tittle "The Slaves", but, when the viewers ear or think about the world "slave",the viewers will immediately think in the history, when the White people used to have African people (black people) as workers with a bad life condition, but in these chapter Mrs Lucy Thompson does not describe the word "slave" like that, “The natives of Yurok went to the dwellings of the whites, to ask for a home for their native families, and they were welcomed and treated like their own family by white people." . I Ms Lucy Yurok culture, "slave" is defined as Native American Indian people who go to white people houses and ask them for a house, also to give them work and a good life style without any violence.
