Mohsin khalid mohsinMohsin Khalid Mohsin is a renowned poet, critic and teacher. They mainly belong to village Rasoolpur Chak 5 adjacent to Tehsil Patuki, which is adjacent to the famous Kasur district of Punjab. Mohsin Khalid Mohsin was born on January 1, 1987. He is still living in Lahore and is engaged in teaching Urdu as a lecturer in Government Shah Hussain Associate College, Chung.

Education:

Mohsin Khalid Mohsin received his primary education from his village Rasulpur Chak 5. Hussain Khanwala passed the matriculation examination from Chak 8. Passed FA and BA exams from Government Degree College, Patuki. MA in Urdu from Punjab University in 2011. Passed Fazil Urdu Exam in 2014 by Lahore Board. In 2016, Punjab University Lahore awarded him the honorary degree of MOL. . Passed MPhil 2016 and PhD 2023 with Distinction from Naderdan University Nowshera. His PhD topic was linguistic study of classical ghazal, which is a unique and novel subject of its kind. Apart from this, Mohsin Khalid Mohsin passed B.Ed examination from Islamia University Bahawalpur in 2011 and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Virtual University. Nowadays he is preparing for Post Doctoral Fellowship.

Teaching:

Mohsin Khalid Mohsin started his academic life by teaching. He taught for three years in Model Town, a well-known educational institution Divisional Public School of Lahore. In 2018, he became a lecturer in Urdu through the Punjab Public Service Commission. His first lecture as a lecturer was at Government Graduate School, Sialkot. Currently, he is attached to the Department of Teaching at Government Shah Hussain Associate College, Chowhang, Lahore.

Honors and Awards:

3rd position in the MA (Urdu) examination of Jamia Punjab in an affiliated private institution Gold medal for best performance in second position in M.Phil (Urdu) from Northern University. 1st Position in Induction Training Higher Education Department with Commemorative Shield and Appreciation Certificate Faiz Ahmed Faiz Award (Poetry) 2017
