The Tappy Jack Shack (Tappy jack shack) was designed by Greenbar director Brandon Tappmeyer. Construction began during the spring of 2011, when papa tappy helped Brandon with the installation of the corner posts. Soon thereafter Brian Sens, the Ranch Director at the S-F Scout Ranch, warned Brandon that the log cabin would be dismantled or burned to the ground if defective materials and workmanship were evident. Brandon took Brian's warning to heart and decided to create a masterpiece to last until the end of time. At every opening campfire for the next seven weeks of summer camp, Brandon called upon the youths to help him in his quest to build a log cabin. Each week many scouts, scouters, and staffers helped Brandon in his lofty task. Although several public buildings were "put to the torch" when the British came on July 4, 2011; the unfinished Tappy Jack Shack was left unscarred and construction resumed as planned. However, the aqua tower was damaged by artillery fire from the British pontoon boat fleet, so it was decided by Jef Albach to dub the unfinished Tappy Jack Shack as the new Aquatics Lounge. After this unfortunate incident, a water balloon launcher was installed on the roof to prevent further attacks from British troops.

The completed Tappy Jack Shack

The building's main structure was finally completed during July of 2011 and a dedication ceremony took place where Will Dotson blessed the shack with a bottle of holy water.

The building's grounds, known as the Greenbar Field at Camp Gamble, are home to several forms of wildlife and different homemade creations by Brandon Tappmeyer. These creations include a rocking chair made out of tree branches, benches made out large logs, stumphenge, and a horseshoe pit.

A plaque placement ceremony is scheduled to happen on September 10, 2011 to make the Tappy Jack Shack an official building at the S-F Scout Ranch. The Tappy Jack Shack is currently the only building on the property without a sign or plaque near it.
