The United People's Movement (UPM) is the governing political party of the Cayman Islands.[1]

History

[edit]

The party was founded in November 2023 after Wayne Panton left as Premier of the Cayman Islands.[2] The party was formed by Julianna O'Connor-Connolly who became the new premier.[3] In April 2024, the party revealed its policy priority document for 2026.[4] Later that year, four leading members of the party resigned.[5]
