The Tramontana is a Spanish Twin-seat sports car with styling inspired on a plane by open wheel racing cars. It was designed by Josep Rubau and built by Advanced Design Tramontana in Garrigàs, Alt Empordà, Girona, Spain, near the mediterranean coast, and costs €700,000 or more. It was launched as a concept at the 2005 at the Geneva Motor Show, and subsequently modified for production.

It features a mid-mounted twin turbocharged Mercedes-Benz 5.5 litre, single overhead cam V12 engine producing 720 PS (530 kW; 710 hp). This is mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox and rear wheel drive giving a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph) and a 0–100 km/h time of 3.6 seconds.[1] The body and interior are a mix of aluminium and carbon fibre, while the twenty-inch wheels are a mix of carbon fibre and magnesium.

The car weighs 1,268 kg (2,795 lb) and the suspension is an adjustable double wishbone suspension. If the two seat option is chosen, the passenger sits directly behind and slightly higher than the driver. The bonnet badge is made of solid white gold.

Less than 20 units have ever been manufactured. The Tramontana car has been inspired in the wind that comes from the north in the Cap de Creus region and which is fierce, powerful and energetic.

The first logo of the Tramontana Cars was inspired in a harmonious fusion of modern aesthetics with nature-inspired elements. Shaped reminiscently of a bird’s wing or a gust of wind, the logo has a silvery sheen that hints at sophistication and luxury. The smooth gradients and flowing contours give it an ethereal and feather-like quality, which juxtaposes beautifully with its solid, metal-like texture. Representing flight, freedom, and finesse, this design is a testament to the brand’s commitment to innovation and elegance.
