"Touch" is a song by girl group Katseye. It was released on July 26, 2024, as the second single from their first extended play SIS (Soft Is Strong) through Hybe UMG and Geffen Records. The song is a drum and bass-infused dance-pop song about moving on from a lover.
Background and release
[edit]On June 28, 2024, Katseye released their first single "Debut", which garnered 3.9 million views within weeks of release.[citation needed] Following the success of the single, they announced their next single "Touch" on July 23.[1] The single was released on July 26, 2024.[2]
Composition
[edit]"Touch" was described as a dreamy upbeat dance-pop song about moving on from a lover.[3][4] The song also incorporates drum and bass.[5]
Chart performance
[edit]The song debuted at number 16 on the New Zealand Hot Singles chart, marking it the group's first entry on a major chart.[6]
