On 4 August 2017, Trybull joined Norwich City on a one-year deal following a successful trial.[3] On 22 August 2017, he scored his first goal for the club on his debut, in the EFL Cup, in a 4–1 home win over Charlton Athletic.[4] On 1 January 2018, Trybull scored his first league goal for Norwich City in a 2–1 home win over Millwall.[5] In the 2019–20 season, he made 16 appearances in the Premier League.[6]

On 26 August 2021, Trybull terminated his contract in Norwich; one day later, he signed a one-year contract with an option for another year at Hannover 96.[7]
His contract in Hannover was terminated on 30 January 2022;[8] he joined SV Sandhausen one day later.[9]
In January 2023, having agreed the termination of his contract with SV Sandhausen, Trybull moved to EFL Championship side Blackpool, returning in England after a year and a half.[10][11] He signed a contract until summer 2024, with the option of a further year.[10][11]
On 31 August 2023, Trybull was released from his Blackpool contract and became a free agent.[12]
On 30 September 2023, Trybull signed with Danish club Odense Boldklub on a contract for the rest of the 2023–24 season.[13] He made his debut, on 2 October 2023, in a 2–1 defeat at home to Lyngby Boldklub, when he replaced Sven Köhler in the 76th minute.[14] He left OB at the end of the season.[15] but then returned to the club two months later.[16]
His contract with OB expired at the end of June 2024, but on 14 August 2024, the club confirmed that they had signed a new deal with Trybull until June 2026.[16]
