Tissaphernes Archaeological Research Group

Tissaphernes Archaeological Research Group was established with the aim of conducting research in the archaeology of Iran, based on the permission of the Higher Education Development Council of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. The Tissaphernes Archaeological Research Group was established by Iranian archaeologist Shahin Aryamanesh.

Status, tasks and goals

• Investigating and identifying research needs in the field of Iranian archeology; Implementation of basic, applied and development research projects in order to achieve the goals of the group;
• Research cooperation with universities, institutes of higher education and
• domestic, foreign and international research in order to improve the quality of research activities in the field of archeology in Iran in accordance with laws and regulations;
• Provide necessary and appropriate facilities for related research activities;
• Providing consulting services to individuals and legal entities based on the results of scientific and research activities carried out in the group;
• Holding scientific conferences and presenting research achievements in the form of educational workshops in compliance with relevant rules and regulations;
• Publication of journals, scientific books, production of software and computer programs in accordance with the goals of the group according to the relevant rules and regulations.

Events

Tissaphernes Archeological Research Group was organized its National Conference of the Persian World in Median & Achaemenid Period, to be held at The National Library and Archives of Iran, on 11 July 2024.
