The Water Project is a non-profit organization that aims to providing reliable water projects to communities in sub-Saharan Africa.[1]

History

Peter Chasse founded The Water Project in 2006 with a group of students in Saint John, NB, Canada.[2]

in August 2020, a hacker group called darkside donated donations of BTC 0.88 (then worth US$10,000) from ransom money to the organization.[3]
