The Sundowner is a 1921 Australian play by Leonard Buderick.[1] It was granted copyright in 1920.[2]

Buderick was an actor and writer who had toured in Possum Paddock.[3] He later had a success with the play Cockatoo Farm.[4]

The play toured extensively in regional areas.[5][6]

Premise

A sundowner visits the farm of the Mumford family.[7]

Radio adaptation

The play was adapted for Australian radio in 1931.[8][9]
