The Seafood Bar is a family-owned seafood restaurant chain based in the Netherlands. It was founded in 2012.[1]

History

It was founded by Fons De Visscher, a fishmonger for 27 years in Helmond, a fish restaurant on Van Baerlestraat in Amsterdam.[1] He also operated The Seafood Shop, a local fish shop in Amsterdam which was closed by the local authorities.[2]

It is located at four locations in Amsterdam, Utrecht, and in 2021 it opened its 5th outlet in Soho, London.[3][4][5][6]

The restaurant specializes in seafood, including crab, fish, lobster, mollusks, oysters and shrimps in the menu.
