The Briks were an American garage rock band formed in 1965 at, beginning at Texas Tech in Lubbock. They were soon relocated to and based in Denton, Texas. Several members of the band attended Cooke County Junior College, in the nearby town of Gainesville. They soon recorded one actetate and were signed with Bismark's agency. They went on to release two more singles.[1]
