Time to retire?
[edit]@The Transhumanist: If we're only going to have a couple of subpages besides the main one, there would be very little need to use this template anymore. A pair of "see also" links atop each page along with a notice defining the discussion scope would suffice. The template in its current form looks a bit empty anyway. Unless, of course, there is some functionality served still by this template that would warrant its continued use - or you can foresee the addition of additional functionality to accomplish the same. Doesn't really matter to me either way. — AfroThundr (u · t · c) 19:51, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
- @AfroThundr3007730: It makes the existence of three equally important talk pages very apparent, and makes it very clear that the WikiProject page has more than one talk page. "See also" links don't bring that message across very strongly. I'm concerned that the task and design pages, the pages we discuss what we are actually doing, might go unnoticed by new members of the team. With the template, they'll never be missed. Whoever came up with this template idea is a genius. — The Transhumanist 20:44, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
- Eh, I just stole it from VP. Guess we'll keep it as-is then. It still needs some work, I guess. If there's no plan for using the help links table, that can probably be removed completely. PS: Pings don't work if you mess them up the first time. :) — AfroThundr (u · t · c) 20:54, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
