The picture for this template is pretty creepy. Not sure if it's entirely reflective of Philadelphia either. --Jtalledo (talk) 04:23, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Replacing "NA"-class with more specific classes

[edit]

This is a request for help from someone with more ParserFunctions-fu than I: I just copied over a bunch of code from {{TrainsWikiProject}} that splits the class category we currently lump together as "NA" into categories for Redirect-class, Template-class, Category-class, Disambig-class, etc. Unfortunately, I don't understand the code well enough to get the banner to display "this is not an article and does not need assessment" when any of these classes are selected. It's fairly standard practice, and is done on TWP and other WikiProject banners, I'm just not qualified to identify which parts of the code can be copied. Thanks in advance! —CComMack (tc) 18:38, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Template:WikiProject Philadelphia

[edit]

I have been working on {{WikiProject Philadelphia}}. My main aim was to change the template so that it would list any articles tagged for both WikiProject Philadelphia and WikiProject Pennsylvania. I have had some success, but the work is incomplete. It seems that the template DOES jointly list quality, but does not list importance for both. See Talk:Curtis Publishing Company for an example. Can you recommend a programmer I can work with to fix this?

BTW ... I have also asked CComMack, SatyrTN, Maniwar the same question. All the best, --evrik (talk) 21:07, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The class of the articles gets passed through {{WP1.0/assessments}}, with the category "Pennsylvania". Unfortunately, there's no similar thing for importance. I can edit the template to more "manually" include the importance for WP:PENN. Let me know on my talk page. -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 23:16, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed this template's automatic tagging of Pennsylvania articles. Since the realm of Philadelphia-related articles extends beyond the realm of Pennsylvania-related articles (like Camden, New Jersey, for example), having automatic tagging for both is not appropriate.--Blargh29 (talk) 16:01, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
