Most of the commented out text in the template code is completely against en.wiki policy and guidelines. A few examples:

  • DO NOT MOVE OR RETITLE TEMPLATE - EVERYTHING on Wikipedia can be retitled or moved. Including this template.
  • DO NOT CHANGE CHANGE FORMATTING!
  • DO NOT ADD ADDITIONAL MATERIAL TO THE TEMPLATE PAGE

Almost the entire commented out text is spewing with WP:OWN. If you want a personal template, move it to your sub-page. If it is kept in the template space, everything can edit it however they like.

Finally, none of that text belongs in the template code. If you want to modify a more polite message, based on valid reasons, place it /documentation page. Gonnym (talk) 11:49, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
