[edit]Why did I create this? Because it's very confusing to know what pages are being monitored by WMF staff, and which staff are responsible for communications. Not knowing creates ambiguity, deters editors from contributing to discussions, and is frankly confusing. From the perspective of staff, not having a member clearly stated to the community as responsible for communication means that other members may be readily drawn in, distracted from their tasks, or embroiled in discussions. 'Will respond promptly'
[edit]I hope it is not presumptuous to put 'will respond promptly' but please feel free to change it. I added this statement because many users might not understand what the responsibilities of the staff monitoring pages are. The responsibilities (as I understand it) are to engage with the community in a reasonable timespan. --Tom (LT) (talk) 23:11, 12 September 2014 (UTC)
