User User_talk:PassionoftheDamon suggested that the colors be modified to match those on the official logo. Damon also suggested modifying the wording to be more consistent with other education boxes. I have made the requested changes. Please discuss these in more detail here. --NThurston 14:31, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Green needs to be more prominent. It's one of Miami's two dominant colors, but it's nothing more than an accentuator here.-PassionoftheDamon 16:40, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good. The orange is perfect.-PassionoftheDamon 16:47, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Color Reference

[edit]

For our reference, here's a place to get standard named Web Colors. --NThurston 16:49, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What's the code for the shade of orange you used? It's perfect and I'd like to change the shade on the Miami football page to that color.-PassionoftheDamon 16:50, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's "orangered" or #FF4500. --NThurston 16:53, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Color blind

[edit]

Just a note...people who are red/green color blind are going to have a difficult time reading the text on the box as it is now. --Durin 17:28, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orange

[edit]

Nice to see that you guys got the shade of orange correct. The orange in the old userbox was way too light, more reminiscent of the Miami Dolphins/Tennessee Volunteers hue.-JDD18 15:37, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
