[edit]

Umm... why the HECK is "fingernail" a cutting tool!?!? Wizard of Yendor (talk) 23:00, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hand tools vs cutting tools

[edit]

So, a saw, a scalpel and a scissors are cutting tools, while a hacksaw and a hand saw are hand tools? Seems a little odd. Maybe a different method of organization might be appropriate here? —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 09:24, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Soldering Irons/Guns

[edit]

Where would soldering irons/guns fit into this? Yes, they are electric/butane powered, but they don't have motors and only use their power source for heat, not to drive a motor... 69.179.153.23 (talk) 05:00, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Augers and clamshell diggers are both called "post hole diggers"

[edit]

User:70.165.18.84, you said that an auger is "not a post hole digger", and then I realized that you're probably picturing clamshell diggers (the hand tool), and that's fine, but just FYI, where I come from, PTO-driven augers and clamshell diggers are both also called "post hole diggers", because they both dig post holes. — ¾-10 00:46, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ice resurfacer?

[edit]

The Ice resurfacer seems out of place on the list as it is the only vehicle. Is there a reason it is listed and not any construction vehicles? Thetrueluckyone (talk) 18:37, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
