Stephen J. Gould

[edit]

While SJG was many things a notable trilobiteologist does not seem to fit the bill, given that his Wikipedia entry does not mention trilobites once... my understanding is that it was Niles Eldridge who did the actual trilobite studies. Psuedomorph (talk) 13:11, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to remove him and replace with Niles Eldridge. I'm actually not familiar with both (or any of them for that matter). I simply followed what sources pointed as possible important trilobitologists.-- ObsidinSoul 13:18, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

disambiguation, and "Notable fossils"

[edit]

I edited the Hypostome link for more precise direction. Additionally, if the "notable fossils" are so notable, why are most of them in red? Of the species with articles, only Isotelus clearly explains notability (largest complete fossil). Without defining notability, this list could be mistaken for bias, e.g. an editor's favorite taxa, and/or articles they've created. --Animalparty-- (talk) 22:11, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
