[edit]The new genus for Equine arteritis virus is Equartevirus, as of the manuscript Michael J. Adams et al. (2017). Changes to taxonomy and the International Code of Virus Classification and Nomenclature ratified by the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses (2017). Arch Virol 162:2505–2538
- 88.38.83.60 we use International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses for the taxonomy here on English Wikipedia. The Virus Taxonomy 2018b Release, ratified February 2019, is the most current. It has the lineage as Riboviria › Nidovirales › Arnidovirineae › Arteriviridae › Equarterivirinae › Alphaarterivirus › Alphaarterivirus equid.
