expanding this template

There is an alternative feature to possibly incorporate into this template in the future, instead of "id=" there is a "name=" method example of lookup which can be very useful. However I am not too saavy with the proper code to have two optional fields in the url at this time. IrisKawling 06:45, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

URLs need to be updated

In addition to Template:Eurohockey and Template:Eurohockey 2 having to be merged and the urls updated, TSN.ca's new look requires this Template to be updated as well. It looks like they no longer have player profiles for long retired players either. --72.25.19.91 (talk) 13:17, 27 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've updated this template, now it's up to the articles to be updated and swap out the old ID's with player-name in the id parameter. IrisKawling (talk) 05:10, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
