Flags

The Crimean flags in the table header is a bad POV idea. You either put a Ukr flag in one of the corners, or remove all flags. Crimea is not an independent country so our flag should be on every each piece referring to it.AlexPU 12:20, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

А як на мене, то все гаразд. От, скажімо, є Template:Scotland subdivisions але ж англійці через це не підіймають галас, що ніби-то шотланці виокремлюватися хочуть.

Ну, якщо ти без цього спати спокійно не можеш, то можемо додати і синьо-жовтого прапору в один з куточків. ;)

От якраз на Template:Scotland subdivisions і є посилання на United Kingdom :)). Прапору, щоправда, немає. Але ж і стосунки Англія-Шотландія більш відомий предмет, ніж Україна-Крим. До того ж, Україна, на відміну від Великої Британії, унітарна країна.AlexPU 13:08, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Proposition

I propose that we merge the Settlements of Crimea template with this one, to make easier navigation between the raions and the city articles and to align them with other Ukrainian Oblast templates like the Cherkasy Oblast and the Kiev Oblast.

I propose the template to look like this (a different version is to merge the two sections: raions and city municipalities). And of course we can always change it if anyone is unhappy...):

It seems like a reasonable idea for me.

Dima, just one thing. In templates when you list items (like raions, or cities) please put a separator ("|") between all items in the list (like "[[Eupatoria]] | [[Foros]]" instead of "[[Eupatoria]] [[Foros]]"). It seems that you don't like the separator being at the end of the line, when the list gets over a few lines, but you are not fixing it right, because the actual width of the line depends on many parameters such as user display resolution, browser type, fonts installed, scaling factor chosen in a browser, etc. Just try to resize the browser window (making it less than full screen) and see the result. I don't think its a good idea.

1). This template should somehow show, that Crimea is not an oblast, but an automous state within Ukraine.

2). Объединённый вариант уж больно громоздкий. И будет ещё сильнее разростаться по мере добавления новых посёлков. ИМХО, лучше оставить как есть. В статьи о крупных городах (Симферополь, Евпатория и т.д.) можно в принципе вставить оба шаблона.
