I'd like to know what makes a community college "not a real college". Considering it's the only college with sports teams inside the city of Harrisburg, I think that makes it notable. --myselfalso 20:28, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Geographical sports templates include NCAA schools only, not even NAIA ones. Every city has a community college, and those schools are not recognized as "junior" colleges. This is because they're not actual colleges.

- However, community colleges are recognized by state governments, and do receive state funding. HACC was founded combining Hershey Junior College into the Harrisburg campus of the college in 1964. There is a community college conference for Eastern Pennsylvania. While using NAIA as a reason why CCs shouldn't be included is valid; calling CCs "not actually colleges" is factually incorrect. HACC, for example, is accredited by the Middle_States#Commission_on_Higher_Education. --myselfalso 20:53, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
