Do we even need {{Policy shortcut}} at all? What use is there of having "Policy shortcuts" as the heading instead of "Shortcuts"? Nardog (talk) 17:21, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

That doesn't stop us from being bold. Unless someone makes an incredibly compelling argument for keeping it as a separate template, I would hold off on incorporating {{Policy shortcut}} into the module. Speaking of which, {{Shortcut-l}} is only used in ~40 pages, so that also could be redirected to the main template with its uses converted to {{Shortcut|float=left}}. Nardog (talk) 18:02, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Template reacts weirdly in help pages

At least in SqWiki. I didn't want to test it here in fear of irritating anyone.

The problem seems to be that "N:PP", which you are passing to {{shortcut}}, is an invalid title since "n" is an interwiki prefix for Wikinews (that is sq:N:PP goes to the Albanian Wikinews rather than the Albanian Wikipedia). It has nothing to do with what namespace the page is in, except that by chance the first letter of the Albanian word for "Help" conflicts with an interwiki prefix, whereas the first letter of the English word doesn't. * Pppery * _{it has begun...} 01:12, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
