This template was considered for deletion on 2018 April 30. The result of the discussion was "no consensus".
I propose that this template, along with Template: Scientists whose names are used as non SI units, is merged into Template:Scientists whose names are used as units. It's quite clunky having two templates and the connection is just the same. As was pointed out in the recent deletion debate, many of the entries do not have a close connection with the SI system other than the use of the name. The connection between them is through being honoured in this way and the system in use at the time is not really relevant. In fact, some entries, such as Kelvin/Stokes have a close connection but are on different templates. SpinningSpark12:08, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
