Inaccurate additional ranks?

[edit]

Hello @Skjoldbro:, According to the Gabonese law (articles 178 & 179, in French but the charts are easy to read), the Gabonese armed forces only have the French-style system of ranks:

  • sous-lieutenant (2nd Lt)
  • lieutenant
  • capitaine
  • commandant (Major)
  • lieutenant-colonel
  • colonel
  • général de brigade (Brig-Gen, 2 stars)
  • général de division (Maj-Gen, 3 stars)
  • général de corps d'armée (Army corps general, 4 stars)
  • général d'armée (5 stars)

@Le Petit Chat: most likely not. Many of these pages are based on uniforminsignia.org's description, since it is hard for most English speakers to find official sources. Feel free to change it to a more accurate layout. Skjoldbro (talk) 09:11, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Skjoldbro: actually the intermediate ranks were formerly used : http://lcweb5.loc.gov/glin/jurisdictions/Gabon/pdfs/214686-210720.pdf --Le Petit Chat (talk) 09:33, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
