Proposal to discontinue templates.

It is recommended that this template, Template:Politics of Syrian Opposition, be merged with Template:Politics of Syria.

With the fall of the Assad regime on December 8, 2024, the rebels took real power in Syria. To compensate for this, the logo towards Template:Politics of Syria was changed from the national emblem during the Ba'athist regime to the temporary national emblem used by the rebels.

Since Template:Politics of Syria has already been changed to match the new Syrian government, we propose to discontinue this template. 怪獣先輩 (talk) 04:08, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure this sidebar has much to offer Template:Politics of Syria. It should probably just be redirected or deleted outright. Charles Essie (talk) 19:12, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
